AJFC Youth Hiring Program
The AJFC Youth Hiring Program gives eligible youth the opportunity to work in a safe, supportive, and professional environment while learning skills that will benefit them in school, work, and life.
Participants will gain hands-on experience, learn workplace expectations, develop responsibility, and receive guidance on the importance of saving money and planning for the future.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be between the ages of 16–20
Be currently enrolled in high school or college
Be available to work during the summer period of June through August
Be willing to learn, work, and participate in skill-building activities
For applicants under age 18, parent/guardian eligibility must be determined
What Youth Will Learn
Participants will have the opportunity to build skills that support long-term personal and professional growth, including:
Communication
Teamwork
Responsibility
Time management
Problem-solving
Leadership
Basic technology and office skills
Workplace etiquette
Financial responsibility
